It is an unrealistic fantasy that fails to entertain even with the suspension of disbelief, and Cruise's natural charisma feels squandered on something so empty. Much of the action in the final third of the movie takes place on Fhloston Paradise, a space cruise ship patronised by the rich and powerful. The conquistadors attack the tribe and Aguirre stabs Frank through the heart. Lily flees with the artifact, chased by conquistadors, but the jungle vines pull them back to the river, preventing her capture.
